This is a unique opportunity for you to join JP Morgan as UHNW Banker, Executive Director for China Market where you will support and manage all aspects of client relationships across the team.
Job Summary
As a Wealth Management, UHNW Banker, Executive Director in the China Market team at JP Morgan, you will be responsible for supporting and managing all aspects of client relationships across the team.
You will operate in both banker and investor capacity, handle and coordinate with various teams on account inquiries and investment-related aspects, and deliver strategic messages to your portfolio.
You will also collaborate with other team members to provide high-quality client service and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
Job Responsibilities
Support and manage all aspects of client relationships across the team; develop and maintain long-term relationships through professional/personal networks and contacts.
Operate in both banker and investor capacity, and handle/coordinate with various teams on account inquiries/maintenance and investment-related aspects.
Articulate and deliver strategic messages to your portfolio, prepare presentations and proposals, and take both solicited and unsolicited orders in all asset classes.
Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investment opportunities, and risks.
Partner with the client including updating Know Your Client (KYC) information, client suitability profile, hosting client meetings, monitoring funds/asset transfer, and handling client ad-hoc queries.
Collaborate with other integrated team members to provide a high quality of client service.
Keep track of Clients, Assets Under Management (AUM), and Revenues using internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance.
Work together with other teams to meet all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in wealth management, along with strong client and stakeholder management skills.
Understanding and working knowledge of the private banking key regulatory and control environments relevant to the team.
Proven client management skills and effective communication skills (oral and written) to positively engage and influence clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills; must be a team player and able to work with different business functions across the bank.
Operate with a high level of integrity and risk awareness.
Comfort and experience working with and reporting to senior management is required.
Fluent written and spoken Business Mandarin is essential to support Chinese speaking clients from China.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred.
If you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2 to get registered as a Representative with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.
Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines.
Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments.
