Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain WSH policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Perform risk assessments and hazard analyses for new and ongoing projects.
- Identify and recommend the best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
- Identify any deviation, weakness, or significant change in organization, and risk control measures and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Guide and advise employees and subcontractors on maintaining a safe work environment.
- Conduct In-House Training Programs, and other safety-related activities
- Perform safety audits and inspections of the Company's worksites to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
- Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.
- Assist in maintaining certifications such as ISO45001, Bizsafe Partner/ Bizsafe Star certificates.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by HOD.
Requirements
Must be a Singapore Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer.
Must have professional knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment).
3.Degree holder in any Engineering Discipline/ Building/ Safety or its equivalent with 7 years of relevant working experience.
Diploma holder in any Engineering Discipline/ Building/ Safety or its equivalent with 10 years of relevant working experience.
Applicant with FSM Certificate, ECO license will have an added advantage.
