The school has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team.

About the role

The IT Support Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting, analysing, and resolving technical issues within assigned schools.

Acting as the main point of contact for user incidents and requests, the role involves delivering high-quality customer service by addressing issues promptly and escalating unresolved queries according to protocol.

The engineer provides Level 0/1 support across school applications and software systems, promotes user awareness of IT issues, and encourages the effective use of IT resources.

Position Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and apply innovative solutions.

  • Ability to establish relationships and build rapport at all levels, identify technical issues, and facilitate their resolution.

  • Hands-on approach with the ability to quickly learn and apply new systems.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • High standard of customer service and professional telephone manners.

  • Ability to work successfully in a team, with good time management and organizational skills.

  • Understanding of confidentiality principles.

  • Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Active Directory account management.

  • Experience with Office 365 account administration.

  • Knowledge of CASPER suite for managing Apple devices.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduates from Post-Secondary Education Institutes such as Polytechnics and Institutes of Technical Studies.

  • Knowledge in the following domains:
    • Microsoft Windows 7 & 10
    • Apple iOS
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Networking
  • Ability to work independently.

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.

  • Good references available upon request.
